B-Keepers take on Ozarks Derby Brigade this Saturday, July 9th!

The B-Keepers are back in action this Saturday night as they will again face the Ozarks Derby Brigade at Matteson Square Gardens in St. Peters as part of a double-header that also features the St. Chux Derby Chix taking on the Springfield RollerGirls.

The last time the B-Keepers squared off with ODB, it was a lop-sided affair in Springfield that saw the B-Keepers shutting down ODB and skating home with a 348-35 victory. That being said, the B-Keeper roster is quite different this time around. Shanego Fett and Neil Death Experience will not be on the roster for this one and those two combined for 147 of the B-Keepers’ points. Gnat King Kill and Inquadable Hulk also will not be blocking this time around. Of course, that doesn’t mean the B-Keepers aren’t still fully loaded and ready to go. The Saint will be there looking to continue where he left off as he amassed 114 points in the last meeting between these two squads. Sweet Tooth will also be anchoring the blocking corps with Specs Offender for this bout.

Full B-Keeper Roster for July 9th:

Neil Death Experience tallied up 63 points the last time these two teams met, but he will be inactive this bout due to a rib injury.

20/20 - Specs Offender (Captain)
42 - Mr Dent
1337 - Mad Hacker
73 - Sweet Tooth
3 - Talahassee Toad
1 - The Saint
99 - Skulls McCrackin
69 - Outcast
100Proof - Oodles of Brutal
4 - Poppa Choppa
29 - Holden U’BAcks
66 - Screech Around
44 - Pink
2FS - Happie Meal

Alternate
4810 - Daddy Frogg

Even with all the changes, this is a very solid line-up and the Ozarks Derby Brigade will have their hands full to be sure.

Immediately following the B-Keepers vs the Ozarks Derby Brigade, the St. Chux Chix will take the floor against the Springfield Roller Girls. Both squads are having excellent seasons. Springfield has recently joined the WFTDA and is coming off a big 188-95 win against Northwest Arkansas and the St. Chux Chix are 5-0 this season with their latest win coming against the Peoria Push 199-112. I spoke to Sweet Tooth (Bench Coach for the Chux Chix) about facing a monstrous opponent in Springfield: “Every bout we’ve had a loss to a key player starting with the preseason when Shell Shoxxx transferred to ARRG and then the first bout Clamburglar broke her leg. Going into this bout Mia Smash’em is out for the season and our #2 Jammer, Vixxen, will be unavailable. This makes their undefeated season that much more impressive, this team really fits the cliche “greater than the sum of the parts”. The girls have been playing out of their minds and been showing they’re real gamers. Springfield is having a franchise year, however, if anybody is going to upset them it’ll be SCDC.

It will be a great evening of hard-hitting derby action that you won’t want to miss! Tickets are still available at Brown Paper Tickets!

See you at the bouts!
