Shanego Fett was the universe’s greatest bounty hunter ever. There was no target too great for Shanego and there was no crime boss that didn’t want him doing their dirty work. One day Shanego was hired to take out a group of earthlings known as “The Gatekeepers”. They were high priority targets and were considered to be very dangerous. With a pile of cash in his ship, Shanego set off to the planet Earth. Along the way he would sometimes get bored, so he would land on random planets to pillage and take his pick of the ladies.

Once Shanego finally reached Earth he was surprised to find creatures that were shockingly similar to the ones on his home planet. Before he killed them, some citizens of Earth told him the whereabouts of the Gatekeepers, and he was off. He arrived at the address the prostitute gave him and found himself in front of the Skatium. He was not impressed with the lack of force fields or automatic weapons. He stepped inside ready to take names… and lives. He was surprised to see that the Gatekeepers were in full armor, presumably ready to face him. As he pulled out his blaster rifle something strange happened, the keepers started to “skate” away. Shanego quickly deployed his built in mobility device (wheels out of shoes) and chased after them. The chase went on for a long time, left turn after left turn passed and still no confrontation. Well, at least not with him, they seemed to be hitting each other. Shanego’s quick whit kicked in about 30 minutes after the chase started and he realized that he was not, in fact, going through an elaborate maze of confusion, but in a plain circle. Shanego was so confused about the keepers’ battle tactics that he abandoned being a bounty hunter in order to learn this strange, new battle strategy. Shanego became a Gatekeeper and slowly learned the rules of not only “roller derby” but of Earth in general. One rule, in particular, gave Shanego a hard time… Apparently (and this baffled Shanego), on Earth, eating the child of the losing opponent was not an acceptable way of celebrating.
