NoFX Shun started out on a small farm in central Illinois. After playing basketball for 8 years through elementary and high school he decided to try coaching. He was still young enough to play and stay in shape while coaching. After realizing a college coaching career was pretty far from realistic, and making next to nothing as a High School coach, he found other work around the farm.

Small town life sucked and there was way to much country music around him. He moved to the city, learned to play bass and got into punk rock. After being told about women’s roller derby he decided to go watch. After seeing a few years of women’s bouts he witnessed the GateKeepers take on Indy. He knew what had to be done. Get some quads of his own and start the path to crushing souls.
