The name hearkens back to the days of spectacular thrills as our beloved stunt man pursued his impulse to exhilarate the masses, who were enthralled with his every action. But mostly they loved to see him crash.
The son of a Midwest pig farmer, he got his kicks ramping the trusty John Deere tractor, farther and farther each chance. Eventually he came across an old dirt bike, and the mayhem ensued. His first attempt at jumping the farm’s waste run-off lagoon resulted in a rough landing. And a very long bath. But that did not stop him, as his fifth attempt was finally successful!
Not wanting to pursue the family enterprise, he toured the country with a traveling stunt extravaganza, performing electrifying stunts such as jumping buses, wide canyons, and the occasional hotel water fountain. Even though these often resulted in a breathtaking crash and numerous broken bones, the mobs of fans always wanted more.
Eventually, he made his way to St.Louis, and upon seeing the Gateway Arch, knew that he must perform a stunt of breathtaking proportions. Under the cloak of darkness, our stuntman climbed the exterior of the Arch, put on some quads, and skated down the north leg. Little did he know, as he was flying down, some members of the Gatekeepers roller derby team witnessed his feat as they exited their favorite disco club on the Landing. They knew with certainty that this dare devil was indispensable for their organization and recruited him on the spot. With nary a hint of self preservation or consideration for his personal safety, he accepted.
Finished with breaking his own bones (433 at last count), he’s decided to start sending the opposition to the hospital…
