Rockets face off against Crimes as the 2012 Turf Wars continue.

This Saturday night, May 19th, at the Midwest Sports Hockey Complex in Queeny Park, the Turf Wars will continue as The Dogtown Rockets will take on the RiverFront Crimes.
The opening bout of the evening sees the return of the women’s expo bouts as we have a rematch from last season.  The Hipsters will look to once again put the Hoosiers down in this classic battle.  Featuring the ladies of the Arch Rival Roller Girls and St. Chux Derby Chix, this will be a battle to behold.

The GateKeepers go 2 and 1 at Spring Roll following a controversial last jam against New York.
Spring Roll has become one of the premier men’s derby events in the country thanks to the fine ladies of the Ft. Wayne Derby Girls and their amazing hospitality.  Spring Roll is two days of predominantly men’s derby that sees many of the MRDA teams get the bulk of their bout requirements in to be eligible for an invite to the MRDA Championships.  Two days of derby on two tracks for two full days …

On May 12th and 13th, the GateKeepers Travel Team will be in Ft. Wayne, Indiana to take part in the Spring Roll event.  Thirteen MRDA teams are converging on Ft. Wayne for the weekend.  Each team will play three bouts over the two days.

It was a rough and tumble Saturday night at the Midwest Sports Hockey Complex in Queeny Park.  The crowd was loud and ready to go and they got a full serving of hard hits and points scored.

This Saturday at the Midwest Sports Hockey Complex in Queeny Park, the Rockets will look to avenge their only loss of the season as they take on the defending Turf Wars Champion South Grand Slammers.  The open bout features the St. Lunachix of the Arch Rival Roller Girls facing the Southern Illinois Roller Girls.

April 7th, 2012 is sure to be an evening that no one in attendance forgets.  It was some of the most intense and physical derby I have ever seen.
